Rev. Jessica Williams will begin her position as Registrar and International Student Officer at Central Seminary on December 1, 2016. Rev. Williams comes to Central from her previous position as Pastor at First Baptist Church of Overland Park, KS. She brings to Central her excellent experience in ministry and social service leadership as well as previous experience in fulfilling registrar duties. Her work with people of diverse backgrounds and her personal connection with the seminary – multiple family members are Central graduates – will serve the seminary well. She has also served as a volunteer on the seminary’s Hospitality Committee for Doctor of Ministry students from Myanmar.

Rev. Williams holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Alderson Broaddus University (Philippi, West Virginia), a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University (New York), and a Master of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary (New York).
Williams commented on her appointment, “I am inspired by Central’s mission, values, and vision. I look forward to furthering those ideals through the ministry of assisting students on their journey of theological education.”
