Now recruiting a new cohort for Fall 2016
Central Tennessee
Classes meet at
Scarritt-Bennett Center
Nashville, Tennessee

The first women’s cohort is going so well, that I feel compelled to expand the initiative and provide more women a fully scholarshipped theological education focused on preparing women for ministry. – President Molly T. Marshall

Studies of leadership confirm that women have significant capacities to transform institutions when at the helm.  Baptist Women in Ministry (CBF) and American Baptist Women in Ministry have been sources of education, advocacy, and networking for women.  Yet more must be done, and Central intends to do it.

I am inviting you to recommend the best women, first or second career in your sphere of influence to become a member of the next Women’s Leadership cohort at Central Tennessee in the Fall of 2016.  – President Molly T. Marshall

Do you know a woman ready to begin her MDiv education? Please contact President Marshall mtmarshall@cbts.edu with your recommendations.

Women interested in the Leadership Initiative may begin their MDiv Application today. Follow the link and choose “Master of Divinity – Women’s Leadership Initiative (2016)” in the dropdown menu.

Central wants to build a remarkable cohort of women for this new horizon in theological education. Candidates for this highly selective Master of Divinity program will receive a full tuition scholarship, a global immersion experience, and personal mentoring and coaching from women already leading in ministry.*

When I first started this process, I would in the back of my mind ask, “God, why me?” Now I think, “Why not me?” I’ve learned to find my voice in ministry, which is a big deal. It’s life-changing. –Clancy Kiener, Women’s Leadership Initiative scholar
