Is it Korean or Karen? The movie All Saints, which hit theaters recently, highlights the difficulties experienced by refugees from Myanmar who are settling in communities across the U.S. In one scene the leader of the Karen refugees who have been resettled in Smyrna, Tennessee, has requested a translator at a government office, but when the translator arrives, it is quickly discovered that he is Korean, not Karen. The inaugural biennial Urban Missional Institute Symposium will be launched on October 20 and 21, 2017, at Central Seminary.
